Probably the best time of year to visit Koh Chang, especially if you are a sun seeker. Koh Chang's beaches return to there best at this time of the year with wide open spaces and white sand
The weather is dry, hot & sunny with unbroken blue skies. Humidity is low and the weather a lot more bearable at this time of year. The beginning of the season can be a little unsettled but days are mostly sunny and the wind, a light breeze, from the northwest.
March - May.

There is not so much sun around as during the high season but its still a good time of year to visit Koh Chang. The island is a little quieter and ideal for those who are looking for some peace and quiet.
The weather is dry, hot and humid at this time of year, The skies are mostly overcast but some prelonged spells of sunny weather are not uncommon at this time of year. The afternoons tend to give way to a heavy rain shower or thunder storm and occasional strong gusts of wind.
June - October.

Also called the Rainy Season the weather is hot and wet. Although most days will have rain at some point you can still have a good holiday during the low season. It will not rain every day and most of the time not all day. Koh Chang's waterfalls, plant and wildlife are at there best at this time of year.
Most days will be overcast with a high probability of a heavy rain shower during the day and thunder storm through the night. Winds tend to be moderate and from the south but can turn gusty. Occasional sunny periods mainly in the mornings.
The sea level is considerably higher at this time of year and beaches can look a little washed out. For those seeking a little peace and solitude this is a good time to visit Koh Chang.
Due to its location and being an island, Koh Chang gets more than its fair share of rain. On average 400 centimetres per year. August has the most rainfall with an average 70 centimetres.
