Flights to Koh Chang

If you are traveling between Bangkok and Koh Chang one option is to fly to Trat Airport and then catch either the Bangkok Airways minibus shuttle service or private transport to you destination on Koh Chang.

Bangkok Airways operate flights between Bangkok International Airport and Trat, 3 times a day during in high season (Nov to March).

The flight takes around 55 minutes and a full in-flight cabin service is available and includes a light meal and beverage.

Flying between Bangkok and Trat you will be able to take in some stunning aerial views of Koh Chang and the surrounding area.

Transfers Between Trat & Koh Chang

The cost of a one way transfer between Trat Airport and Koh Chang are given below. For a return trip just double to price.

If you require an airport transfer please indicate the type of transfer required on the flight booking form.

Arrival at your destination on Koh Chang will be between 1.5 and 2 hours after your flight lands.

Departure transport will pick up from your resorts reception area approximately 3 hours before your flight is due to leave.

Transfer Bangkok Airport to the City

If you are Traveling from Bangkok International Airport into Bangkok City, a taxi is you best option. Taxis departing from Bangkok Airport can be found on the second floor (first level) at at the front of the airport building.

The cost of a taxi between Bangkok Airport and the city should be between 300 and 350 baht, this includes the motorway tolls.

There is also an Airport Shuttle bus that departs from the ground floor and stops at many locations in the city including Suchumvit Road, Silom (Business District, Khao San Road and Banglampoo.

The Airport Shuttle leaves every 30 minutes and the cost should be around 170 baht.

Transfer the City to Bangkok Airport

Taxis going to airport can be organised by your hotel or guest house in Bangkok. However, you will find it is much cheaper to hail one yourself from the street and pay by the meter price.

You should expect to pay 300 baht from Suchumvit road area and 350 baht from Silom and Khao San Road.
